Toby's work with the 'Southmead Hospital Charity'

Toby has worked with the 'Southmead Hospital Charity' North Bristol NHS Trust since 2016 by performing in shopping malls and at Southmead Hospital in Bristol during the Summer and Christmas. He also hosted a live streamed show online during the Covid-19 pandemic which alone, raised £705.00 for this amazing charity. Toby is soon to be doing a skydive from 15,000 feet to raise more funds for the charity.

The charity raises crucial funds for Southmead Hospital and the North Bristol NHS Trust which enable patients to receive the best possible treatment and care. All donations are split between five critical areas. Pioneering research, patient and family wellbeing, staff wellbeing and training, cutting-edge equipment, and finally enhancing buildings and spaces.

Since 2019, Toby has raised £4,419.39 for the charity.

A message from Toby

"On 20th April 2024, I took part in a Skydive at 15,500 feet for The Southmead Hospital Charity, which I’ve worked with for about 8 years now.

They have looked after many of of my family including my nan who we sadly lost last year. The date this took place was exactly 2 years since she passed away.

The Southmead Hospital Charity provide a bridge between the general public, grateful patients and their families, and the NHS that they want to thank. With their support they fund pioneering research and equipment as well as improvements to our hospitals’ buildings and spaces. They also care for the people who care for you, and fund projects which develop and support staff to help them deliver exceptional healthcare.

I was so excited to jump, however, I got up there and was terrified! I was the first one to jump out and as there door opened, I was instructed to tuck my legs under the aircraft and lean back - on 3, we jumped out. It was a feeling I've never experienced before and I urge everyone to do it! An absolutely incredible feeling!

I have raised £1,781.25 for this alone and I am so grateful for everyone's kindness and generosity. Now starting to think about what the next challenge is going to be!
